Mike's CBC Interview
Well it was a pretty exciting day around here today. After sending out notifications to all of our friends that our new tool Hang & Level™ is available for sale at selected Home Outfitters across Canada (click here to see a full listing of all the retailers the tool is available at) our friend Lynn Douris who works at the CBC in Ottawa thought the story of the tool would make an excellent local interest story.
After she made a couple of phone calls to a colleague in Calgary a couple of days later there they were filming in the house and at some local retailers. It was a great little piece focussing on Liette’s inception of the product idea and the path that it took to becoming a reality (10 years later). The piece was excellent (and a second, slightly longer French version was also create) and ran that night on the CBC news. (See it here)
The great postscript to the story is that the piece ran several times and was eventually picked up by CBC stations across Canada as well as CBC Newsworld!
